General Conditions of Sale (GCS)
A - Subject
These general terms and conditions of sale cover the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the booking of stays within Beheloka Lodge.
B - Booking and payment
The reservation can be made:

Via the website

By WhatsApp or email

On site (subject to availability)
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total amount will be required to validate the reservation.
Balance: The balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival.
Accepted payment methods and currencies:

Cash
-
Bank transfer
-
Euros or Ariary (current rate)
Booking confirmation: A confirmation is sent by e-mail after receipt of the deposit.
Consumptions out of stay package as well as local taxes will be paid at the end of stay at checkout.
C - Rates

The rates are indicated in Euros and local currency (Ariary_daily rate) and do not include local taxes (see price plate).

Beheloka Lodge reserves the right to change its rates at any time.
However, confirmed reservations will remain at the rate in effect at the time of confirmation.
D - Cancellation policy
Cancellation by client:
More than 60 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit.

Between 60 days and 30 days before arrival: refund of 50% of the deposit amount.

Between 30 days and 15 days before arrival: the deposit is not refunded.

Less than 15 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the stay is due.
Cancellation by Beheloka Lodge:

In case of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g. extreme weather conditions), the customer will be informed as soon as possible and can request a deferral or refund.
Beheloka Lodge will not be held responsible if the weather or sea conditions do not permit to reach or leave the property.
E - Stay at Beheloka Lodge

The client undertakes to comply with the rules of the establishment (cf. internal rules available on site or on request).

Any disruptive behaviour may result in immediate expulsion without reimbursement.

Sex tourism and the abuse of alcohol or drugs are not allowed in the establishment, under penalty of expulsion and fine provided by the authorities.
F - Responsibilities

The ecolodge can not be held responsible for theft, loss or damage of property.

Bathing and use of the facilities are under the responsibility of the guests.

Any damage caused by a customer may be subject to additional billing.
G - Force majeure
Beheloka Lodge cannot be held responsible for the non-execution of the contract in case of force majeure (weather conditions, natural disaster, pandemic, etc.).
H - Applicable law and disputes

These GTC are subject to Malagasy law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be preferred. Otherwise, the competent courts will be seized.
